For the 2024-2025 admissions season, standardized testing will be a required step of The Bush School application process for Fifth through Twelfth Grade applicants.
Our
test flexible policy allows applicants to submit any standardized test taken in the past two academic years (2024-2025 or 2023-2024). This includes state testing such as Smarter Balanced (SBA), MAP or CTP (ERB), STAR Assessments, Iowa Assessments, ISEE, or SSAT. There is no preference given to any particular test.
Additionally, The Bush School will host two ISEE test dates and one SSAT test date on campus to support access to the test for applicants to grades 5-12.
ISEE (for students applying to grades Fifth through Twelfth)
- Saturday, November 2
- Saturday, December 7
Register for an ISEE test at
www.erblearn.org. You must create an account or log in to register for a test.
SSAT (for students currently in grades Fifth through Eleventh)
The SSAT at Bush is currently full. Please visit
www.ssat.orgfor other testing locations. The Bush School uses a test flexible policy that does not require the SSAT. You may submit the Smarter Balanced (SBA), MAP or CTP (ERB), STAR Assessments, Iowa Assessment, or ISEE. There is no preference given to any particular test.
For families applying to Bush, test fee waivers are available for the ISEE and SSAT. Families will be asked to submit financial information to the Office of Financial Aid to determine eligibility for receiving a waiver. Please contact Director of Enrollment Management Adam Choice at
