We are excited to connect with you and share more about what makes Bush special for students and families from Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade. We offer a variety of in-person and virtual events during the admissions season to help your family learn about academics, the arts, athletics, experiential learning, and the student and family experience at Bush.

  • Open Houses

    Join us on campus to experience life at The Bush School! The Open House includes an opportunity to hear from Bush leadership, participate in classroom learning led by Bush faculty, and learn more about our curriculum and programming.

    • Middle School Open House - Saturday, November 8
    • Lower School Open House - Saturday, November 15
    • Upper School Open House - Sunday, November 16

    Registration for Open Houses is available via Ravenna.

  • Parent and Guardian Previews

    We offer Parent and Guardian Preview sessions both in-person and over zoom. Upper School, Middle School, Lower School Kindergarten, and Lower School 1-5 Parent and Guardian Preview sessions are offered from mid-November to mid-January.

    These events are intended for parents and guardians only. 

    In-person programming will include a tour to visit learning spaces in action as well as opportunities to learn more about divisional curriculum and programming, and hear from the division director, current faculty, staff, parents, and guardians.

    Virtual programming will offer opportunities to hear from divisional leadership, staff, parents, and guardians about programs and community at Bush.

  • Student Visits (Kindergarten, Fifth Grade, Sixth Grade, Ninth-Eleventh Grade)

    All applicants to grades: Kindergarten, Fifth, Sixth, Ninth-Eleventh are required to attend a student visit. Visits take place on campus during the fall and winter. Registration and additional visit details are available on Ravenna.

    Please note, you must first submit the Bush preliminary application and pay the $70 application fee before registering for a student visit. For families applying for financial aid, the application fee waiver code is PSIS2026.

  • Affinity Events

    Wondering if the Bush community is right for you and your family? Hear from Bush leadership, faculty, and current families about their lived experiences at The Bush School and the school's ongoing work to become an inclusive institution committed to equity and justice. These events are affinity spaces intended for applicant families who share layers of identity as part of the LGBTQIA+ community and/or people of color. 

    We ask that applicants and families who do not share these layers of identity attend our other events to learn about the Bush community and student experience.

  • K-12 Learning & Wellness Support

    We invite K-12 applicants and their families to join us for a virtual session to learn more about the different layers of support that are available to students at The Bush School. Families will hear from learning specialists and mental health counselors from each division, and have the opportunity to ask questions in divisional breakout rooms.
