Now that March Madness is over… it’s time for Mulch Madness!
Calling all K-12 families to join us for Mulch Madness on Saturday, May 3, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Cheasty Greenspace for a morning of weeding, mulching, and fun as we team up with Green Seattle Partnership to help reforest this incredible space.
Gloves, tools, donuts, and hot coffee will be provided — all you need to bring is your energy, your kids, and a spirit of adventure!
The Bush School has been helping to restore this urban forest for several years. This special green space provides habitat for birds and other wildlife, helps clean our air and water, and keeps the neighborhood cooler on hot days! Check out the trails during the work party! Many thanks to Andrea Ostrovsky for coordinating this event!
Let’s mulch it up, make a difference, and have some fun together.
