Since the creation of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in 1983, pancake breakfasts have become a common way of gathering in community to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the values he championed: community, courage, service, and care for one another. Over pancakes and conversation, we celebrate the power of connection and reflect on how each of us can continue to build a more just, compassionate, and inclusive world, starting right here at Bush.
