Fire and Earthquake Drill Follow Up and Upcoming Lockdown Drill - Monday, October 5
On Tuesday, September 29, the Bush community participated in a Fire and Earthquake Drill on campus. If you did not receive a text and email from TitanHST, the Bush emergency messaging platform on Monday, September 28 announcing the drill, please email communications@bush.edu to update your contact information.

As part of The Bush School’s Emergency Preparedness Plan, the school will perform a lockdown drill on Monday, October 5 at 10:00 a.m. We use this drill to practice for a potential lockdown of our campus due to a threat – or perceived threat – on or very near our campus. The campus will not be accessible during the lockdown drill. Please plan accordingly for any student drop off or pick up.
This is part of the school’s annual emergency drills schedule, which also includes fire drills and an earthquake drill. These drills are an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to practice the procedures and test the systems that support the school in the event of an emergency. Prior to Tuesday's drill, teachers will review procedures with their students in developmentally appropriate ways.
