Celebrate Bush

Save the Date: Celebrate Bush 2025

On Saturday, March 8, 2025, The Bush School will host its annual fundraising event, Celebrate Bush, a community celebration featuring dinner, drinks, a DJ, a live auction, buy-ins, and a "Raise the Paddle" to support financial aid.

Join us from 5:30-11:00 p.m. at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in downtown Seattle, with Matt Lorch returning as the auctioneer.

Together, we made the following possible ...

$942,208 gross total, including:
 
  • $530,646 (and counting) through Raise the Paddle. It’s not too late to make a donation! Take a look at the Raise the Paddle video and then visit the site to support financial aid. (designate the gift to "Celebrate Bush Raise the Paddle)
  • 167 families generously supporting Raise the Paddle
  • Two challenge matches met
  • a live event $100,000 challenge match from The Children’s Education Initiative and an anonymous donor.
  • An additional $20,000 challenge match from the Alvord family.
  • 500 total registrants
  • $46,500 in sponsorships from fifteen generous partners and an additional five in-kind sponsors.
  • 31 volunteers who brought this event to life.
  • Thousands of memories made ushering in our next century!

The Bush School is an independent, coeducational day school located in Seattle, WA enrolling 735 students in grades K–12. The mission of The Bush School is to spark in students of diverse backgrounds and talents a passion for learning, accomplishment, and contribution to their communities.
